Mr. Maines passed the California State Bar in 1970, taking the Oath January 7, 1971.
He
began with Miller, Star and Brodski as a trial attorney in their Civil
department. His first 18 months he tried to completion 27 cases for the
firm.
He spent 5 years in private practice after his time at Miller-Star. Mr. Maines then went to work for
Fremont Bank, where he was general counsel to the bank for the Bank for 4
years.
Mr. Maines continued as general counsel to the bank for
several years after he left Fremont Bank and went into private practice
in Fremont, California. His practice continued to represent the bank but
also branched out into more real estate, criminal, civil litigation and personal
injury cases.
In 1999, Mr. Maines moved his practice to El Dorado
County, and has continued to provide a full service general practice to
clients in California as well as those in other states with interests
in California.
